Entertainment Company – Entertainment Marketing Group (#entmktggroup)
The Good ~ Bobby Brown (#kingbobbybrown) Personality cool laid back – he actually calmed some of us fans down just by displaying his own cool calm demeanor. Bobby wasn’t supposed to make an appearance until 4pm however he was there right when I walked in around 3pm-ish sitting talking with his family, and friends. I met and chatted it up with 4 beautiful ladies, I wish I had exchanged information with a couple of them in case an opportunity like this happens again… All in all this experience made me feel like I wanted to do more celebrity meet and greet experiences.
Price ~ Very Affordable!! Bobby and his team entmktggroup really showed us grace.
It was an intimate setting with a small group of people. I appreciated that you didn’t need to have a concert ticket to get the VIP ticket (1. I had seen BB and New Edition in Concert already in March and 112 in Concert in April when they were here with Xscape. 2. I had Jill Scott Concert later that evening, so this worked out perfectly for me).
Photo Op and Autograph~ Loved it! Although they said we wouldn’t have time to do selfie photos because Bobby had to leave right after the photo op… This young lady who worked with Bobby took our phones and began shooting photos of us so that we could have our own keepsake as the photos that the photographer was taking wouldn’t be available right away as there would be a 2-3 day wait (it actually took about 6 days for the entertainment company to post). I truly appreciated her for this… Also, as Bobby was leaving some attendees were able to grab a real selfie with him… Unfortunately, I didn’t because I didn’t want to bother him anymore… I had already gotten him to autograph my copy of his book Every Little Step! And I definitely understand that he still had to get himself ready for the show!
Sneak Listen ~ We got to hear a bit of 112s (#OneTwelve) practice session. They sounded beautiful!!
The Food ~ Catered by Croakers Spot ~ Very well-seasoned and flavorful ~ Buffet Style Serving ~ We had Fried Fish, Salmon Balls, Chicken Wing Dings, Grits, Scrambled Eggs, Mashed Potatoes, Peppers and Onions, Corn Bread, Turkey Bacon
Gifts ~ Bobby Brown Experience 2022 Bag, Bobby Brown Seasoning (I got Paprika), A Bobby Brown Flower and choice of 1 of 3 T-Shirt styles ( I picked the Every Little Step t-shirt).
The Bad ~ I didn’t take any photos or video of the food, or gift/merchandise table. I don’t think I properly introduced myself to him.
The Hoodrat ~ No clear signs to the event (but this can also be considered good – less traffic) When I walked in I went to a security guy to ask where the registration was and he told me wait just a moment… I was fine with that… however he proceeded to make a call (which again I was fine with) to tell someone happy Mother’s Day… ok…what I wasn’t fine with is that he carried the conversation further so I told him to go ahead and finish his call I would see if the ladies at the table knew where registration was… Well as stated above they didn’t know where the guy was that was handing out the VIP passes, they said he should be up front but told me to have a seat until they could find him. Long story short a group of people with VIP tags came from the front to the table with the ladies then the ladies told myself and 3 of the ladies that I had met that we needed to walk around to the front to get our VIP tags… a little inconvenient but it didn’t stop me or the other ladies from enjoying the main attraction! Bobby B 😊
